Check-in was straightforward, with friendly staff providing helpful tips about the area. The hot breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide selection cooked to order. the room felt a bit tired, needing some maintenance, particularly around the windows and bathroom seal. the slight damp smell in the corridor detracted from the experience.

Just a suitable option for a weekend stopover in Inverness with exceptional value. The bar had a good selection of spirits and local beers. For better choices, check nearby eateries for meals.

The hotel had a lovely bar where I enjoyed a refreshing drink after a long day, and the cozy beer garden was perfect for relaxing in the sun. I also loved the tasty breakfast options and the chance to unwind in the peaceful atmosphere. Though I had to wait a bit for my room to be ready, it didn’t put a damper on my overall experience. 😊

I had a lovely one-night stay in a spacious King Room, where everything was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is on a quiet street, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep, and I truly appreciated the early check-in and the personal touch from the friendly staff. the breakfast could be improved. it could benefit from more variety in the options available.

comfortable bed but tough walk to the center
The bed in our room felt luxurious and allowed for a restful night's sleep. We enjoyed the charming area that offered us a peaceful environment for our stay.
The walk to the city center can be challenging if the weather isn't pleasant.

The outdoor dining area was a fantastic spot to enjoy a cuppa and the delightful breakfast box was a nice touch. The location was spot on for exploring places like The Corriegarth and La Tortilla Asesina, both close by for a cheeky bite.
The floors creaked like an old ship, and the water pressure in the shower was a bit wild, splashing like a fountain! The bed was a tad on the soft side and could do with better pillows.

missingWrote a review on 27 Maygood locationattentive staffcomfortable bedstaff availabilitydecor qualitycleanliness issue
Check-in took a while since no staff were around, but the cleaning team helped with our bags. The bedroom looked tired but the bed felt comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but we found dog hairs on the sheets. The staff were polite when available, though often absent. A complimentary breakfast box was offered, but it didn't arrive the last night. The location is a quiet area and only about a 10-minute walk to the center, which I appreciated. Despite good intentions, the service often fell short, especially since the bar was closed. The hotel has potential, but it definitely needs better management and investment to meet expectations for the price I paid.
